All residents, groups and businesses on Stronsay will be able to take a simple basic web page under www.stronsay.co.uk from as little as £15 per year (These prices are for the stronsay.co.uk domain only).
Basic web page:
This is a single page with some text and a picture done in the style of the main website. The page can be about anything that is legal and decent like advertising your B&B, helping sell your house, or advertising any sales or services you may provide like crafts, building or taxi services.
If you need a picture we can take one for you or use one of yours. We will update the page twice a year (If needed) and list the page in the appropriate place on the main web site.
Basic web pages can have two links to other web pages , one will be back to the main Stronsay web site and the other (If needed) can be of your choosing so you can use this as a link to your own website if you already have one.
These pages are a very low cost way of reaching lots of people who are already interested in Stronsay and far more cost effective than advertising in local papers who only reach local readers.
The cost of a basic web page is £15 per year. You DO NOT need a computer to use this service.

This service costs £45 per year and provides you with:
A website (one ready-made basic page and the space for as many additional pages as you want),

Online calendars (You can use these with others on the service)
Online file storage
The ability to become a contributor on the main Stronsay web site
A listing in the main drop down menu of www.stronsay.co.uk
A listing in other appropriate places on the main site.
Free support
The website provided as part of this service consists of one, basic web page. If you want more than one page, you can either add as many extra pages as you want using our own easy to use and free software, alternatively you can create your entire website using any proprietary software, or you can employ us to create the whole website for you (We are very cheap!).
You DO need a computer and modem to use the full service. It does not matter who your ISP is alternatively you can use our own fast and reliable 0845 Internet access number. When Stronsay finally gets broadband the service will be even better.

This is for existing Stronsay sites and because it is just as easy for us to do a simple page as it is to do a link the charge will also be £15 per year (Take a basic page and include a link).
Links for non Stronsay folk, businesses etc £25 per year.
